Wendy Kranz has always found inspiration in the beauty of nature and the rich history surrounding Jamestown, California. After a long career in healthcare, Wendy decided it was time to follow her passion for the outdoors and crafting. This led her to create Jamestown Candle Works in February 2024, where each candle is designed to bring the refreshing and calming essence of nature into people’s homes. Wendy moved from Washington State to the Sierra Foothills to be closer to her family, and the stunning mountains, lakes, and forests around her new home have been the driving force behind her creativity.

Wendy’s dedication to quality is reflected in every candle she makes. She hand-pours each candle in small batches, using 100% soy wax and non-toxic, nature-based scents that evoke the outdoors. Through meticulous testing, Wendy ensures that her candles have the perfect balance of fragrance, whether they’re burning or simply sitting in a room.
